The City of Plymouth provides curbside recycling collection every other week for all single-family homes and residential units in buildings with up to eight units. Place recyclable materials at the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day. Although collection will be made on the same day of the week as previously, collection times may vary.
Schedule
Recycling collection is made every other week on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays, depending on where you live (PDF). Each of these areas are further divided into smaller "blue" and "grey" areas to designate the week for recycling collection. Talk to your garbage hauler about matching your garbage collection day to your recycling day.

To receive collection text alerts when holidays or weather affect garbage and recycling collection from Plymouth's recycling company, text “allied” to 292929. Note that these alerts are not targeted specifically to the company's Plymouth customers.
Missed Collection
If your recycling cart was at the curb before 7:00 a.m. on your recycling day of your collection week and was not picked up, call Plymouth's recycling provider, Allied Waste Services at 952-941-5174, or go to alliedwasteminnesota.com to report a missed pick-up.
Replacement Carts
Plymouth residents put all their recyclable material in one 65-gallon wheeled cart. No sorting is necessary. To receive a replacement, extra or different size recycling cart, call Allied Waste Services at 952-941-5174 or go to alliedwasteminnesota.com.
If you move from your current home, please leave the cart(s) for the new owners. The recycling carts are the property of Allied Waste Services.
Recycling Fees
Residents in single-family homes and townhomes pay a $1.50 per month solid waste fee. This fee is charged bi-monthly and supports the curbside recycling collection program, recycling drop-off site, yard waste site, environmental education, special events and general program administration.
