Dogs Get Chance to Play at Off-leash Dog Parks
Posted Date: 10/11/2012

Dogs can have fun and get exercise with off-leash play and socializing at one of Plymouth’s dog parks. The city’s permanent dog park on County Road 47 provides acres of play space covered with artificial turf (repurposed from years of service in the Plymouth Creek Center Fieldhouse). The turf protects the area from erosion and helps keep paws from getting muddy.

Hockey rinks serve as two mini off-leash dog parks through the fall at Plymouth and Oakwood playfields, located at 10011 36th Ave. N. and 1700 County Road 101 respectively. The entrance to each new mini off-leash park will have space for owners to leash and unleash their dogs.

User guidelines, doggie bags, garbage cans and benches are conveniently located at the facilities.
